Our Live AFL Odds allow you to compare current AFL Head to Head Odds, AFL Line Handicaps as well as AFL Over Under Totals from a selection of some of the most respected bookies online. Whether you bet AFL Head to Head Odds, Line Handicaps or Over Under Totals there is one easy technique that the professional punters always use that you can incorporate into your weekend AFL betting. That is, when you have made your selection scour the bookies odds and lines to find the highest odds and the most favourable handicap lines.
Some AFL Footy punters set up an account with one bookmaker and play into their lines without knowing what other odds are available. Sure they might have money in that account and feel that setting up other bookmaker accounts is too tedious, but for those that do go ahead and set up multiple accounts they can reap the benefits of consistently betting into the highest AFL Odds. Not only that but they can take advantage of the generous signup and reload bonuses on offer which can further boost the bankroll.
The example AFL odds above are taken from a random game and only highlights two bookmakers Pinnacle Sports and Luxbet. Depending on which way you were intending to bet the game would dictate which bookie you would use. If you liked Richmond on either the Head to Head Odds or the Line Handicap then you would be best of betting with Pinnacle Sports at $1.29 on the Head to Head and also -27.5 at $2.02 on the line. If your bets win you will profit an extra $4 or 4% (per $100 bet) on the odds and an extra $10 or 10% (per $100 bet) on the line. If you were looking to back Port Adelaide your best bet would be to punt with Luxbet and take the Power at $4.20 where if correct you would profit an extra $22 (per $100 bet) on the money line odds and an extra $4 (per $100 bet) on the line at +27.5 $1.92.
You can see that with a little effort comparing AFL odds and lines you can add to your bottom line. Scanning the odds will also sometimes uncover further betting opportunities such as middles, sides and arbs (scalp) which we will discuss in future articles.
AFL Head to Head betting is one of the most common AFL betting types offered by the bookmakers, it is also referred to as the AFL Moneyline. Our AFL Betting Odds article covers how the AFL Odds are presented and how to calculate the respective percentage chances those odds reflect. There is an easy reference AFL Odds win percentage table as well as historical data for the past 5 years on how the AFL favourites and underdogs have gone against the moneyline.
How often does the team that wins the game cover the AFL line handicap? How often does the favourite cover? Which key numbers if any should you be looking out for when punting on the AFL Line? Find all the details at BetonFooty.com.au's AFL Betting Lines article.
We discuss the ins and outs of AFL Over Under Totals betting in our article AFL Betting Totals From the basics of how the line and odds are presented, which game totals occur the most often and which are the other factors to consider before placing your next AFL Totals bet.
